DUBLIN PLANT: LOCAL SUPPLIER, WORLDWIDE EXPERTISE!

With the official launch of the construction of a new fiberglass furnace at the Dublin site (Georgia, USA), Vetrotex has a clear strategy to support the demand of the US textile market and strengthen its local customers.

The textile glass yarn business is strongly growing in the USA and the local production capacities are limited today. Till now, we were delivering from our Mexican plant and could not answer all the demands from the market.

Investing in Dublin is clearly a message to our customers that Vetrotex believes in the future, and we are ready to support their needs over the coming years.

Since the end of last year, we put in place a task force of specialists coming from Europe, Mexico and also the US to run the project and I am optimistic that we will be able to start the plant during the second semester 2023”, explains Nicolas Bastard, Business Director of Vetrotex

With a future capacity of 50,000 tons, the Dublin plant will create approximately 400 jobs and will deliver twisted yarns and direct rovings to external and also internal customers. It will also help the European plants locally, for example during the maintenance of our furnaces.
