Staple Fiber

Staple fiber, high tex yarns have a higher surface area that is ideal as a filtration medium for gas, dust and aerosols. Vetrotex manufactures a wide range of staple fibers ranging from 7 µm to 25 µm, perfect for use as filtration medium for mist elimination process.

Vetrotex’s 11 um twisted staple fibers made of C offers a greater surface area for liquid filtration. Ideally designed for filtration medium in string wound cartridge filters used in aggressive chemical environment and high temperature applications.

Fibers are bonded together with minimum amount of lubrication to provide good handling properties and higher tensile strength. Our staple fibers are non-hazardous and nonflammable.
